College Credit Plus information for 2026-27

College Credit Plus allows students to take a college course and earn college credits while in grades 7-12, on a full- or part-time basis. Newark High School is hosting an informational session for interested students and their families at 6 p.m. on Thurs., Feb. 5, in the NHS Commons. The goal of this option is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and expose students to options beyond the high school classroom. Students enrolled in college courses will adhere to the requirements of the college. To participate, a student must be an Ohio resident. For more information, please see
